Privacy Policy
Effective June 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Stuck At Home LLC(“we”) handles information in connection with Strandly(the “Service”).
Who controls the data
For information about salon accounts (the stylists and salon owners who subscribe), we act as the data controller. For information that a salon stores about its own clients (such as contact details, notes, formulas, and photos), the salon is the controller and we act as a processor on the salon’s behalf — we use that data only to provide the Service. Clients with questions about their information should contact the salon directly.
Information we collect
We collect:
- Account information — name, email, phone, salon details, and login credentials.
- Client information you enter— your clients’ names, contact details, appointment history, notes, color formulas, and photos.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we keep records such as amounts, status, and transaction identifiers.
- Usage and device data — basic logs and analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Service; to enable booking, reminders, and payments; to communicate with you; to provide support; to maintain security and prevent abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.
Communications
The Service sends transactional messages on a salon’s behalf, such as booking confirmations and reminders, by email and (where enabled) text message. These are necessary to the booking the client requested. Salons are responsible for obtaining any consent required to message their clients.
Service providers we share with
We share data with the providers that power the Service, only as needed to operate it:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Vercel — application hosting
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
- Resend — transactional email
- Twilio — text messaging (where enabled)
- PostHog — product analytics (anonymous usage events to improve the Service; we do not send client names, emails, or phone numbers)
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with the law (for example, payment and tax records).
Security
We use measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level data isolation between salons. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You may access or update your account information in the app, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. To exercise them, email us at the address below.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information for account holders.
Changes
We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in the app).
