Compare the total, not just the starting price
Subscription
Strandly is $29 per stylist: $29 for one, $87 for three. Competitors may charge per user, calendar or location. A team can cost less elsewhere.
Taking payment
Card processing is separate from Strandly’s subscription. Check your transaction mix and provider rates, plus any hardware or payout charges.
Finding clients
Strandly has no discovery marketplace or acquisition commission. Some competitors offer optional paid discovery. Compare the value of those new clients with the fees.
Where Strandly fits
Strandly is built around a returning client’s visit: dated formulas and notes, consultation quotes when needed, deposits credited to checkout, and a separate next appointment. A guest booking link and reviewed history import help bring that workflow into your own studio.
Check these limits before switching
- Waitlist notifications are sent by staff; automatic matching and offers are not included.
- Consultation quotes support a specific visit; general intake forms and signed waivers are not included.
- The full appointment duration is reserved. Booking another client inside processing time and two-way external calendar sync are not supported.
- Tap to Pay, card-reader hardware, payroll, inventory and memberships are not included.
- History import supports notes, formulas and past visits. Photos transfer separately; a complete client-history export is not yet available.
Booking emails and scheduled reminders need working delivery configuration. Text messaging requires separate setup. A shared salon uses salon-level payment configuration; check the arrangement if each booth renter needs independent payouts.
